Light
Where it enters, how it is filtered, and how it dims through the day. Light is the first thing a sensitive nervous system notices.

Classrooms, sensory rooms, corridors, and transitions designed so that neurodivergent and neurotypical students can learn in the same environment.
We strongly encourage schools and programs serving neurodivergent students to consider a full sensory environment assessment. By examining sensory conditions, spatial organization, routines, and accessibility, we identify practical strategies that let students participate, regulate, and thrive, and give facilities teams a plan they can act on.

Acoustic felt, heavy drape, wool underfoot. A room that absorbs instead of reflects lets a mind calm down.

How rooms connect, where decompression lives, where a routine begins and ends. The plan is the quietest instrument we have.

We work with a limited number of families, individuals, and institutions in the New York metro area each year.
