Sensory Environment Assessment
We evaluate physical spaces for sensory triggers and provide design recommendations that support more adaptive, inclusive, and comfortable environments.
Highly Sensitive Design provides thoughtful neurodiversity consulting for homes, schools, clinics, workplaces, and community environments. Our sensory-aware approach considers individual preferences, routines, accessibility, regulation, and well-being to create spaces that feel more inclusive and functional. Led by a licensed architect and neurodivergent parent, we translate lived experience and multidisciplinary expertise into practical design guidance.

An autism consultant helps identify ways environments, routines, products, and services can better support an autistic person’s sensory, functional, cognitive, behavioral, and everyday needs. In a design context, the consultant may assess a space for sensory triggers, recommend adaptive changes, and help project teams create more inclusive environments. Highly Sensitive Design brings architectural and neuroinclusive design expertise to this work.
